The King Gastro

The work of King Gastro carries in a tough critique without aiming to it. It unfolds the story of
man’s birth, life and death, and the painful meaning derived from it.

One of the manners to create composition is by settling a row. The row sets the standard and at the same time provides dynamics: there are soldiers, poles, cars and people standing in a line. Suddenly, an alien element appears – something out of the ordinary. In this work, this is the Red Man, who, on the one hand, is inside of the “human herd”, and on the other hand, stands out against the general background with his red color.

Thus, the picture is a “plastic parable”, which tells us about a paradox. The essence of this paradox is the contradiction between the individual and the society, of which this individual remains a part.
